This was a tribute project to the late great Heath Ledger who sadly passed away. His death was particularly impactful as I was a huge fan of his work and he was one of my favorite actors. At the time I believed that people of his celebrity at such a young age were invincible. I used his portrait and photographs of nature and combined both in photoshop using layering techniques to compose a new image.
