JAMES HUTTON
During my final year at University, I entered a YCN student competition which is held annually. One of the briefs that stood out to me was the Fedrigoni paper brief which involved designing a new concept for their new range of Ultra Sirio Black papers. I opted for a book to highlight the prestigious qualities of the new range and used animals as the main theme to distinguish the varied weights of the paper. I used Akidenz Grotesk for the typography which I felt portrayed the eloquence of Fedrigoni as a brand. I used an origami style for the animal illustrations which corresponded to the paper they represent.
